March is Women’s History Month, and to celebrate we are offering our Women’s History Tour! For over 400 years, from the Indigenous women who worked the land to our organization’s founder, women have always been a part of the Turner-Ingersoll Mansion’s history, but not always given the spotlight they deserve. The House of the Seven Gables has created a Women’s History Tour to focus, in-depth, on the many women who have lived and labored in the Mansion.

This tour focuses on the untold stories of the women who have lived and labored in The House of the Seven Gables. Until a few years ago, these stories were largely untold and we are making a concerted effort to share them with the public to highlight the diverse historical stories of Salem.
