Salem Main Streets and the Salem Chamber of Commerce invite you to come enjoy the annual Salem’s So Sweet Chocolate & Ice Sculpture Festival – a decadent tradition of delectable chocolate, sparkling ice sculptures, and Valentine’s Day shopping! Now in its 24th year, the festival’s signature elements include a Friday night kickoff party, 25 ice sculptures scattered throughout downtown, two nights of illuminated sculptures, a “Chocolate Hearts” game with prizes, live music, and sweet specials and promotions at local shops and restaurants throughout the city.

For Salem’s special 400th year, the festival will also be commemorating and celebrating the anniversary of the first long-distance telephone call (made right here in Salem!) with special activities, including a phone booth for recording your Salem love story and a large-scale game of “Telephone”.

Please note, the ice sculptures last as long as the weather allows.
