Show off your red, white, and blue at Salem’s annual Fourth of July Kids Bike Parade around Salem Common. Gather at the Salem Common playground at 11 am to decorate your bikes, scooters, and wagons. We will parade around the path inside the Common and stop for refreshments At O’Donnell’s parking lot at 84 Washington Sq E.

The tradition of decorating bicycles to parade on the Common during Fourth of July festivities dates back several decades. Today, the event highlights Salem’s welcoming spirit for families of all ages and our well-established bicycle network.
