Historic Salem, Inc., in partnership with Salem 400+, invites photographers of all ages and skill levels to participate in the Salem 400+ Photo Contest. Celebrate the city’s past, present, and future by submitting images in any of three categories: the Salem Through Time, Hidden Salem, and Your City. Winning photographs will receive prizes and public display in downtown Salem. Submissions are open through August 15, 2026. We are encouraging people to share both their individual experience and the community narrative of Salem, MA. The goal of this photo contest is to share the beauty, history, and authenticity of this city by gaining the perspective of as many individuals as possible.
