Under the overarching theme of “Salem Through the Centuries” the parade will take spectators on a journey through time\, beginning with Salem’s indigenous roots and progressing through each major era that has shaped the city’s identity. \nA Timeline Come to Life \nTaking inspiration from the 1926 Tercentenary Parade\, this year’s parade structure will organize participants and floats chronologically\, creating a living timeline that flows through Salem’s streets.
